First Birthday Party

Anna had a wonderful first birthday party. Thank you to all of our friends and family who joined us for the beautiful June day. We missed all of you who could not be here to celebrate. Anna especially enjoyed taking turns riding in her wagon with her friends. Not knowing what to make of her cake, she finally dug in enjoying the thick layer of frosting. After opening just a few gifts the birthday girl headed to bed after a long but fun day.

Birthday Girl

Anna had a nice first birthday. Marty played hooky from work and we spent the morning at the York Wild Kingdom where a duck tried to eat Anna's toes. In the evening we had dinner with friends. Jack and Luke each made a special cupcake for Anna. She really enjoyed the chocolate frosting and made a mess of herself!

The year was highlighted with trips to Cape Cod, Chicago, San Diego, Hawaii, Vermont and many visits to Connecticut. Thank you to everyone that helped make this year so wonderful. Watching Anna grow had been amazing and we look forward to what the future holds for her.

Memorial Day Weekend

I am happy to say Marty arrived home on Saturday. Anna and I picked him up in Boston and headed straight for Vermont. We had a fun weekend celebrating my Mom's birthday. We spent most of the time just relaxing but had time to do a little shopping. On our way home we stopped by the Gellers to meet their new addition Grady. Anna had a lot of fun playing with Brooke.

More Hawaii

Here are a few more photos from Hawaii. I hope you enjoy them!!

Mother's Day Weekend

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day here in Hawaii. Saturday we took Anna to the beach for the day. She even took a nap in her stroller so we could stay a little bit longer. On Sunday we spent the morning touring the USS Arizona Memorial. Anna really enjoyed her first boat ride. After we took a drive around the North Shore. We wanted to get out at some of the pretty beaches but Anna was napping.

Hawaii

It is day two here in Hawaii and we are having a nice time. Anna was very excited to see Marty after almost three weeks. We had another wonderful flight. Anna spent almost 15 hours in her car seat and didn't complain once. We are still getting use to the time change but have explored Waikiki. We are close to the beach, restaurants, many resorts and a lot of high end shopping. Tuesday Anna and I took a dip in the pool and had the whole place to ourselves. Today we took a walk to the beach. Anna tried her hardest to eat the sand. She wasn't too sure what to think when sitting in the ocean.
