Visit with the Hofmanns

We were lucky to meet up with Andy, Karen and Ryan on Sunday in North Conway. We had a nice lunch at the Scarecrow followed by playtime at Andy's grandparents house.

August

Taking care of baby Lucas.

Playing with Luke in the kitchen at the Children's Museum.

Swimming at the pool.

With Jack and Luke at the pool.

Seabrook Beach

The weather is starting to cool here in Maine so summer is coming to the close. We spent most of August at the pool. Anna really enjoys swimming and has become a fish! One Sunday while relaxing at the pool Anna decided it was time to start walking. There is no turning back now. In the two weeks she has gone from a drunken sailor to a pretty good walker. Tomorrow Anna turns 15 months old. I am not sure where the time goes.

Camp Overflow

We would like to thank Jeff, Alisha and the Ford family for hosting a fun weekend of camping at Camp Overflow in Otis, Mass. Anna proved to be a better camper than me. She loved sleeping in the tent and didn't even mind the hard ground. I on the other hand did not enjoy that part. We had a lot of fun boating, swimming and spending time with good friends. As long as we have an air mattress we look forward to next year!

Great-Grandma Bernasconi

We detoured on our way home from camping and stopped in Lee to visit Great-Grandma Bernasconi. We had a nice visit and hope to see her again in November.

Pat and Jenn's Wedding

Saturday we had the pleasure of attending Pat and Jenn's wedding. It was a beautiful day to spend on a lake here in Maine. Congrats Pat, Jenn, Jordan and Faith. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Sydney's Visit

Blueberry picking

Jack and Luke with girlfriend Sydney

We were very lucky to have Aunt Sydney visit last week. She spent loads of time trying to get Anna to either walk or say her name. Syd was not successful at either but Anna now lets us know when to "stop" and when she is "all done".

Jack, Charlie and Harry

We were very lucky to see Mark, Natasha, Jack, Charlie and Harry on their first trip to Grammy and Grampy's since moving back from Germany. I know Marty wished he could have seen them too. We look forward to seeing them again this fall.
