CT Fun

We had a very busy trip to Connecticut last weekend. Friday started off with a visit to the pumpkin farm with my mom and ended with a fun 30th birthday celebration for Joey. Saturday Anna enjoyed her day with Grammy and Grampy and loved her first trip to the Beardsley Zoo. Marty and I had a lot of fun catching up with the UConn girls at Alicia and Mike's wedding on Saturday night. Before heading home to Maine we celebrated Harrison's confirmation with a brunch.

Lets Go Bears

Today is opening day of the 2009 football season. Marty and Anna are getting ready for tonight's game by wearing their Bears shirts. Thanks Aunt Jen for all my Chicago stuff!

Fruit Picking

We took advantage of a beautiful Sunday to go blueberry, apple and peach picking. Anna loved eating the fresh blueberries and even figured out how to eat a whole apple. Anna, Jack and Luke loved watching the chickens in their pen.

Finger Painting

Anna finger painted for the first time yesterday. We had lots of fun making her first artwork.

Cape Cod

We decided at the last minute to head to Cape Cod for the Labor Day weekend. Thank you Bernasconis for letting us invade your house for two fun days on the beach. It was nice to relax and catchup! Anna enjoyed playing in the water and the sand. Lucky for us Brewster in on the bay side and we didn't have an visits from the great white sharks swimming off the ocean coast.

Visit with the Hofmanns

We were lucky to meet up with Andy, Karen and Ryan on Sunday in North Conway. We had a nice lunch at the Scarecrow followed by playtime at Andy's grandparents house.

Seabrook Beach

The weather is starting to cool here in Maine so summer is coming to the close. We spent most of August at the pool. Anna really enjoys swimming and has become a fish! One Sunday while relaxing at the pool Anna decided it was time to start walking. There is no turning back now. In the two weeks she has gone from a drunken sailor to a pretty good walker. Tomorrow Anna turns 15 months old. I am not sure where the time goes.
